DR. ELIZABETH COMEN, MD,
Medical Oncologist, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Dr. Elizabeth Comen is an Attending Physician on the Breast Medicine Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is also affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College. She received her BA from Harvard College and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Comen splits her time between seeing breast cancer patients – those with early stage as well as metastatic breast cancer – and her research on immunotherapy. One trial is investigating how mutations in immune cells can affect breast, lung, and colon cancer patients. Dr. Comen’s research is supported by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Atlanta’s A Cure In Our Lifetime has been proud to support BCRF since 2016.

Dr. Comen is featured in a nationally airing commercial for MSKCC entitled “Elizabeth’s Story.”

Our mission is to fund innovative breast cancer research, provide resources for those who have breast cancer, and promote breast health through education and outreach. We are affiliated with Chappaqua’s A Cure In Our Lifetime. Since 1998, A Cure In Our Lifetime has raised nearly $3,000,000 in the fight against breast cancer.
